Hey Family!!! Sooooo you guys all suck. Hope yer havin fun in LAKE POWELL WITHOUT ME. Not fair. Imma little jealous....but that's ok!!!! Ill just have to make up for it by goin 9 times next year:) So like....my comp and I were just walkin into the library just barely, and this old man yells from across the street...."ARE YOU THE MORMOM GIRLS?!?!?! COME HERE MY MORMON FRIENDS!!" So we walked up to him, first thing he says, "You both are beautiful. I want to marry you" with the biggest smile and no teeth. Haha gotta love bein a missionary.....and... I learned a new skill this week! How to burp a waterbed. Yup.
Well this week was AMAZING!!! So T and J. both passed their baptismal interviews and are gettin baptized this Saturday, July 12th!!!! We are SOOOO Excited!!! Aw the lessons with T have been absolutely incredible. He is sooo ready. He got up in church yesterday and started cryin sayin how grateful he was for me and Sister B for bringin him soo much happiness. He will never ever forget us. It was soo special. Ha I cried a little.....but not much cuz Im big and tough.;) But I will tell ya about their baptisms next week!!! :)
So we had another cool thing happen this week! We were walkin home from paintin Net nets house and this older Mexican man was strugglin gettin stuff out of his car. So we ran over and asked if we could help him. He was soo relived and thankful. We helped him load a ton of stuff out of his van then met his wife. We asked her if there was anything we could do for her. She said, "Wait..really? You would actually do whatever I need help with? Its the 4th of July though....don't you got so many other places to be?" and we said, "nope we are here to help you with anything you may need." She then broke down cryin and huggin us and said that we were angels that God had sent straight to her. She told us that she has been strugglin so bad with her health and had all these things she needed to get done by tomorrow and didn't see how a way could be made for her to accomplish it. But then out of no where 2 girls show up and ask to help. Haha She pinched us and asked if we were angels many times. It was sooo cute!!! We were able to help her get what she needed done and share the restoration with her and give her a book of Mormon:) She was soo excited to read it. It was a real cool experience:) It really strengthend my testimony on how sometimes we may feel that something is completely impossible. That there is no way we can come up with a way to fix something or solve a problem we may have. But even if it is impossible for us.....its not for God. Impossible isn't even a word to God. So quit tryin to do things all ourselves. We aren't gonna be able to do them. God has a plan, He is in every detail of our lives and will make it work out the best way, a way we could never even come up with ourselves. All we have to do is align our will with God's ,and trust in Him, and then let Him work the magic.
Well so many other miralces are happenin. We have 11 progressing Investigators at the moment and are finding new investigators DAILY. IT IS ABSOLUTELY INSANE. Le Mars is just blowin up!!! I am soo grateful that I have been able to see the change! Thank you all so much for the prayers you have said! They are really felt and appreciated! While bein out on my mission.. my testimony of the BOM has strengthened sooo much. There is so much power that comes from reading that book. A lot of the time its not necessarily what you read that gives you the strength, but the fact that you read that gives you the strength. That book is full of so much power....so many answers. As you read from the scriptures you not only learn what you are supposed to be doin but also things that your not supposed to do. It is our map that keeps us on the strait and narrow way. If we read that book everyday we will not leave the path. We will have the necessary power to fight Satan off and win.
We were talkin in district meetin the other day about what is the most important thing you can teach someone. After much discussion we decided that the most important thing you can teach someone is how to be spiritually self sufficient. Its like fishing. You can catch the fish for them and let them eat it. They get their reward. They get to eat the fish. But the next time they want to go fishing and eat a fish, they wont know how. So our job is to teach people HOW to fish, not just catch the fish for them. Once they know HOW to fish....they can go fishing whenever they want! and that is how a testimony is built. By continually fishing and partaking of the fish. The more we fish (Study the scriptures) the more fish we catch. (Knowledge, Testimony, conversion.) And thats the key....we need to be readin the scriptures everyday, not just every once in awhile to make a difference. You don't gain a testimony of the Book of Mormon by reading it. You gain a testimony of the Book Of Mormon by reading it A LOT. Anyways sorry I always go off on random tangents....haha I just love this gospel with all my heart! These have been the best 8 months of my life!!! I have learned so much and am just so grateful that I have been able to be a missionary for my Savior, Jesus Christ. As you know our purpose is to invite others to come unto Christ, but what people don't always understand is that we invite them to come unto Him so that He can work His miracle in their lives in whatever way he chooses. By coming unto Christ, that means we are submitting our whole selves, or our will, to Him. That's what it means to truly come unto Christ. And I can honestly say that by being out here on my mission I am slowly coming more and more unto Christ. I still have a lonnng way to go...but Im tryin my best:) I love you all soooo much and am so grateful for the amazing examples you all are in my life! Have a wonderful week and Dare bear.....jump the wake for me at Lake powell!!! Then crash and face plant it so I wont be so jealous;) haha jk I LOVE YOU GUYS! Love, Sister Wilson:)

Hey Family!! How are ya all doin? I hope ya all had an amazing week!!! So this week was crazy busy!! Ha so it was transfers week and everyone (including me) was completely convinced I was leavin. We bawled and bawled and it was horrible.....but thennnn I DIDNT LEAVE! I have never been so dang happy!!! Haha at the end of this transfer I will have been here half my mission! So crazy!:) I honestly wish I could serve my whole mission here...but who knows we will see:) So we were able to meet with K (a.k.a Lonely Guy:)) 2 times this week. It was amazing!! Wayyyy powerful lessons!!! He started to cry....he told us about his Dad dyin and how the stuff we were sharin with him just felt..right. He had never felt peace and comfort about his Dad dyin...until now. He felt that all was gonna be ok and he would see him again. It was sooo cool. Gosh I just LOVE bein able to tell all these amazing people this great news. I love seein how hopeful and happy they get. It literally changes their life right before your very eyes. It is so amazing to be able to be apart of it. Well because I am stayin I am able to see T and J be baptized!!:) We are soo excited!!:) They get baptized on July 12th!! The first baptisms ever in Le Mars!!!:) Soo excited!!! We have some others who are soo close to gettin a baptism set so hopefully Ill be able to see others!!:) I am just so excited for them. They are both sooo ready and so excited. Its so cool. T's mom is dyin right now and he has been strugglin so hard but just relies completely on the gospel. He literally reads the BOM for 3 hours everyday. How cool is that? He is such a cool guy. Well so much other experiences have happened but I don't got too much time so I am gonna cut it short today!! Your welcome;) But I do want to share what our mission is focusing on right now. So we had a whole zone conference a couple weeks ago about eternal families and preparing for marriage and our future families. It was REALLY cool. I learned soo much. But we just talked a lot about how Gods whole plan is for eternal families, and Satan knows that and so that's why his biggest attack is on the family. We discussed how Satan attacks the family by addictions. He plants seeds and then they grow into unstoppable weeds. He even uses us to poison ourselves. He uses society against us. He makes us think that we are in control, when in all reality we have lost all control. He frames sin to appear as noble. He twists good things, makes them look vague. He does this until his mindsets become instinctive to us. It makes sense, I mean God's work is hastening so why wouldn't Satan hasten his? But whats so comforting to know is that God knows all this. He knows Satans tactics. Therefore he knows how to counteract them. So He has given us all these tools to fight for our family and protect them. Those tools are prayer, scriptures, church, Faith, Repentance, Baptism, Holy Ghost, Temples...the list goes on and on...but the most powerful and important is the Priesthood. He literally gave us HIS power to help protect our families.I think of the Priesthood as the tool box and all those other things are the tools within the box. The Priesthood holds everything together. In order to have the Priesthood you have to hold a certain standard of worthiness. When you are worthy to hold the Priesthood, you are worthy and strong enough to fight off Satan. That's why its so so important that we have the Priesthood in our home. That we marry someone who is worthy to hold God's power and who knows what a priveledge that truly is. I just am so grateful for my Dad to always bein a huge example to me of this. I love you so much Dad, and really hope to marry someone like that someday:)
Anyways sorry that was probably all over the place. Ha its hard to gather all my thoughts....but last thing. There was a quote I found the other day about prayer. As we know, Prayer is a powerful tool God has given us to protect us and our families from Satan. As we really learn how to pray effectively and sincerely, the more power we will have against Satan. The more power we will have to protect our families. The quote is from H. Burke Peterson. It says, "As you feel the need to confide in the Lord or to improve the quality of your visits with him - to pray, if you please- may I suggest a process to follow: go where you can be alone, go where you can think, go where you can kneel, go where you can speak out loud to Him. The bedroom, the bathroom, or the closet will do. Now, picture Him in your minds eye. Think to whom you are speaking, control your thoughts -don't let them wander, address him as your father and your friend. Now tell him things you really feel to tell him - not trite phrases that have little meaning, but have a sincere, heartfelt conversation with him. Confide in him, ask for forgiveness, plead with him, enjoy him, thank him, express your love to him, and then listen for his answers. Listening is an essential part of praying. Answers from the Lord come quietly - ever so quietly. In fact, few hear his answers audibly with their ears. We must be listening so carefully or we will never recognize them. Most answers from the Lord are felt in our heart as a warm comfortable expression, or they may come as thoughts to our mind. They come to those who are prepared and who are patient. "
I loved that. I most definitely am goin to work harder to improve my prayers so by the time I have the blessing and privilege to have a family of my own, my strength will be sufficient enough to fight off Satan. I am so grateful for my family and my parents for always utilizing Gods tools in our family. I love you all sooo much and hope you have a wonderful week!!! You are in my prayers!! Love, Sister Wilson:)

Hey Family!!! How are ya all doin? I hope real good!! Soooo much happened this week!! It was crazy! So first off we have been in a ton of tornado warnings! It was soo much fun!! We got stuck in the E's basement and just chilled down there till the tornado passed. It didn't hit directly Sioux city so we were fine! Although there was golf ball size hail!!! Sooo sweet! But a DOUBLE tornado hit Pilger Nebraska. (which is about 45 mins away from us.) oh awkward...you all have the news so you probably already heard about this..anyways...so the whole town of pilger was completely destroyed. It was soo sad. We were able to go with a bunch of missionaires and serve for 2 whole days cleanin up the tornado damage. It was so sad....these peoples houses were literally picked up and completely ripped down to shreds all over their fields. We walked fields for 6 hours on Saturday and I found dolls and wedding pictures and clothes and roof ALL over their corn fields. It was seriously one of the saddest things I have ever seen....the people were completely devasted. They had the national guard there and red cross and TONS and TONS of volunteers from all over the U.S. comin to help. It was soo cool to be apart of it.
On Friday a bunch of us missionaires drove out to Wakefield to clean up the damage they had from their tornado. We drove out to this farm which was completely demolished. It was an older couple who were high school sweethearts and lived in this house all their life. When we got there the lady was just sobbin on the front porch. I went up and put my arm around her and told her we were all here to help. She cried and cried and hugged me and said we were all angels and told us her story. Then we walked their fields pickin up stuff that might be of meaning to them. It was sooo sad.....
So a lot of this week has been down in Pilger and Wakefield cleanin up tornado damage but we were also able to teach some awesome lessons!! We taught Gary and Laura (The ones who asked us' "So you could tell me what happened to my son? Where he is now?" He had died of cancer... Leukemia and they didn't know there was a heaven. It was an AWESOME lesson!! Laura cried the whole time we talked to her. The prayer was soooo powerful. She showed us all her sons stuff and just talked with us. They are amazing people. I am so excited to see what happens with them:) We had a ton of people at church on sunday! Ah it was awesome!! The work in Le Mars is INSANE! haha we are hopin this transfer President sends another set of missionaires up here! We have soo many investigators and not enough time in the day to teach them all!! Baptisms are FOR SURE gonna be happenin here soo!!! T's and J is in 2 weeks!!! butttt.....the sad thing is....Transfers are this week. and I have been here for 7 and a half months...I think I might be leavin:( Which makes me so sad cuz I love these people with all my heart and more. I never EVER wanna leave....but I know that God will send me where I need to go and I just gotta be willing. I probably wont be able to see any of these people be baptized....but at least I was able to share the gospel with them and get them on that path....which makes me more than happy to be able to be apart of that:) Well so many other things happened but it would take an eternity to tell all so Ill just wait for another day:) I just wanted to share with ya all some things that I have been thinkin about! (besides bein killed by a tornado). I been really thinkin about the Atonement. I think that once we have a real understanding of the Atonement then how can you NOT act? The more and more I learn of the Atonement and the depth it reaches into each of our lives...the more I want to love and help every person around me. Its soo cool. I think that if you understand Christ, then you'll understand the need to be like Christ. Does that makes sense? Sorry my thoughts are all over the place. But if we really realize our potential then we will so much more easily see others potential. It makes it that much more easier to love and help them. Every person has the same need in life. Everyone just wants to be loved. And because of the Atonement.....through the Atonement everyone CAN not only love, but everyone can be loved. The Atonement really fills every need we have. Its such a deep, powerful thing and I know the more we understand it, the closer to heaven we will be. Not only that, but we will become closer to reaching our full potential.
With all these tornados and floods and deaths, and these horrible trials people are goin through, a lot question why me? Why would God allow this to happen to me? But We just need to keep in mind that God will not inflict upon us anything that is not ultimately for our good. He will make us into what we cannot make of ourselves. We just need to trust in Him. We may not be able to control all the circumstances and situations that happen in our lives, but we do have control of our happiness. That happiness is found in the gospel. Its found in making Christ your best friend, your first priority. If we just do that....then our challenges will truly become our blessings. Christ has the power to make somethin completely horrible, into something completely beautiful. There is a reason for everythin....just rely on Christ and you can find that reason. Well I love ya all SOOO much and hope all is goin well at home!! You are in my prayers every day and I am so grateful for the letters checkin if Im ok! I love you guys!!! Love, Sister Wilson:)
Hey Family!! I hope ya all had a wonderful Fathers Day!!! :) Things are goin great over here!! I have never been happier! I love Le Mars sooo much!! Its the cutest town EVER. I have made such amazing friends here and am gonna have the hardest time in the world to leave. These people have become family to me! We have continued to see SO many miracles this week! The Lord is blessing us sooo much! I am so grateful! One really cool experience we had this week was we were walkin home at 9 and were about to walk inside and I saw this couple out of the corner of my eye walkin by. I waved to them and asked them how they were doin, and they walked over to talk to us. We ended up talkin and introducin ourselves and then the lady said, "Oh .......hey so would you be able to tell us what happened to our son? He died 4 years ago from Leukemia and it terrifies me... wheres he at?" She started cryin...I was shocked. Ha Heavenly Father had completely prepared these 2 for the gospel. They basically just asked us to teach them. We ended up basically teachin the plan of salvation and told them that we know he is free from pain and safely resting in heaven. We told them that he is all around you every day, bein your guardian angel, you just can't see him. She started bawling and hugged me sayin, "You really honestly believe that? How can you be sure?" I then bore as strong of testimony as I could..tellin her I know without a doubt that this is all true. I told her about Jared and how I feel him every day and know he isn't far away at all...that I would see him again one day, and so will she see her son. We just need to live our lives in a way so we will be worthy. She grabbed me and said, "Please teach me how to do that. Teach me what you know. You guys can come over whenever you want! " We were completely shocked. Ha we said, "Oh my gosh of course!! We will teach you everything we know!!" It was sooo cool. We are goin back over this week:) I am sooo excited to see where they go!!! They are truly special.
So this week was also the funeral for K. It was soo hard and sad. S found a poem that K had written at the bottom...."Please read at my funeral". I absolutely LOVED it. It says, " Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard his call, I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, to play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, I've found that peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Ah yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My Life's been full, I savoured much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch, Perhaps my time seemed all too brief, Don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God wanted me now, He set me free.
That really is such a sweet poem. I really feel the spirit when I hear it. I think it shows a more eternal perspective of death. Death seems (and is) such a hard thing...but when you really think of it, its amazing. That person gets to return home to God, free from all pain and sickness and hard things that are in the world. We should be happy for them. Its what we ultimately all want in the end. Its just real hard to see it that way. One quote that I found the other day is by Spencer W. Kimball, it says, "No pain that we suffer, no trial that we experience is wasted. It ministers to our education, to the development of such qualities as patience, faith, fortitude and humility. All that we suffer and all that we endure, especially when we endure it patiently, builds up our character, purifies our hearts, expands our souls, makes us more tender and charitable, more worthy to be called the children of God...It is through sorrow and suffering, toil and tribulation, that we gain the education we came here to acquire and which will make us more like our Father and Mother in heaven." I absolutely loved that. It is so true. Life can be real hard and challenging at times and we just need to remember that it is all for a reason. Instead of asking, "Why is this happening to me?" Ask, "What am I to do? What am I to learn from this experience? What do I need to change? Who can I help?". Its super hard to think that way.....but if we do, it will be soo much easier to deal with the trial. Well sorry I went off on that!! haha we had tons of other miralces! J came to church and is gettin baptized in July!!!:) T and J are gettin baptized July 5th!!! They have come to church too!! Many others are progressin like crazy!! We have 11 progressing investigators!! That's HUGE for Le mars!!! haha its sooo cool!!:) I am SO grateful to be able to see this happenin in Le Mars!!! I hope I never leave!!! Thanks so much for all your prayers for me!! My throat will get better eventually, but looks like I haven't learned what I am supposed too yet. Haha so Im gonna take what I learned and apply it to my life:) One of my favorite scriptures this week is D&C:50:40-42! Read it, its awesome! I love ya all SOO much and you are all in my prayers!!! Love, Sister Wilson!:)

Hey Family!!! This week was awesome! We got 6 new investigators!!:) Le Mars is gettin somewhere!! Ah its awesome to see the difference since when I first got here 7 months ago till now!!!!:) But one of the investigators names is J. He is this older guy who owns his farm out in the middle of nowhere. His wife died of a stroke and he needs a lot of help around his farm. So we went up there and helped around the farm. It was so cool. We were able to teach him the Restoration and give him a BOM and he says he will most definetely come to church next week!!! He was real interested in it!!:) We are so excited!! Another new investigator was a referral given to us from one of our potential investigators. They lived over in the trailer park. She just had back surgery so we helped clean everything and then were able to share a message. She has a 10 year old boy named B. His Dad is a NFL player on the NY giants team! But He never sees his Dad....he just sends him money every year. Its sad. B didn't know anything about Jesus so we were able to teach him about Jesus and God. It was really cool. He really wants to come to church with us. His mom said he could and she wanted to come when her back heals! 2 other new investigators are named N and L. We went over to the lock up and were seein T and A when they both asked if they could come in and listen. We told them of course and ended up teachin them the plan of salvation with this visual aid that Ali Peterson gave me!!! (Tell Ali thank you SOO much!!) They both started cryin!!! and sayin that that feels so right. It was SUCH a powerful lesson. But then we always have powerful lessons at the lock up. Heavenly Father really loves them and wants them taken care of. We gave them BOM's and they gave us their numbers so we can go back and teach them more. They wont ever be able to get baptized cuz they can't leave the lock up.....but it is bringing them so much peace in that horrible horrible place they are in. The feeling in the lock up is so scary and awful......but I know that we are supposed to be there bringin them peace and comfort and love from their Heavenly Father.
Some other cool things that happened this week was we were able to go to a bonfire with the G! A really really less active/part member family. They live out in the middle of nowhere and invited a BUNCH of people. Haha D is Pagan....and in a motorcycle gang so all his buddies came. We were kinda a little bit scared to go. It was a BUNCH of hard core rednecks. Haha they all brought beer and I don't think any of em believed in clothes or shoes. Haha. But it ended up bein AWESOME! First off they made a bet jokingly that if I roped this fake cow then they would wait to drink the beer till after we left. I ROPED IT! hahaha it was so funny! They were all laughin and didn't drink beer till after we left!:) They all were super nice to us and asked us a bunch of questions! It was cool! Then we were able to teach M (Their 16 year old daughter). She has been struggling with suicide because her father committed suicide. We were able to have a good message with her about Gods love....and left her a commitment to paint a picture about God's love. (She LOVES art and paints horrific drawings of suicide and death....its so sad) She was SO excited to do that!! and wants to come to church!:) Another cool thing was C!! She came to church last week and then this week we were able to meet with her. It was Such a good lesson where she asked sooo many questions. She believes all of it....then every night after we teach her she calls us and thanks us so much and says that we are angels and knows that what we say is true. It is the cutest thing in the world!!! We are really hopin this keeps goin so good and before you know it she is gonna get baptized!!!! PRAY FOR HER!!!! One other thing is M...She is the aneorix girl who has major health problems....she had to go to Arizona for health treatment and so we had to say goodbye to her this week. It was super sad. She was terrifed to go and didnt' want to go.....didn't know if she would ever see us again cuz she thinks shes gonna die. I gave her a BOM and bore my testimony so strong of the peace and comfort that book will bring into her life. She told me she would read it and thanked us soo much. I know that book will comfort and bless her life if she just reads it. Well then just some fun stuff that happened was yesterday a HUGE flash flood came and the whole 1st floor of Floyd Valley Apartments got flooded. So me and Sister Bertrand and S were there all day suckin up water with buckets and mops and vacuums. haha it was so fun!!:) Welll so many other things happened this week as well but I am runnin out of time! So I better get goin but I love ya all sooooo much and pray for you every day!!! Thanks for all you do!!!

Hey family!!! Well this week was different! Haha so Im just gonna tell ya all a funny story. So on Tuesday I started feelin real sick...we were teachin some investigators and I just kept fallin asleep and coughin but we stayed out until 9! I was sooo proud....then all that night I couldn't sleep. I kept fallin asleep then bein jolted awake cuz I would stop breathin....so then my companion said it was gettin a lot worse so we needed to go to the ER. Haha so we got up at 3 in the mornin and went outside to get in the car and realized we forgot the keys and were now locked out of the house. Then this car drove by real slow playin real nasty music and then turned around to drive by us again. We got a real bad feelin so we both ran to the back of the house....By that point I wasn't breathin well AT ALL.....my companion was freakin out....we were prayin like crazy and then we called S (the 73 year old lady we live with) and she came and unlocked the back door and took a look at me and said "I have no idea what you 2 are doin out here at 3 in the morning but we need to get you to a hospital." Haha she didn't even ask why 2 missionaries were chillin outside at 3 in the morning. It was so funny! We got to ER and I dont really remember anything after that. Sister Bertrand got a bunch of videos of me....I was super drugged up. The only part I remmeber was wakin up 13 hours later and being alone.....without my companion. I was freakin out to the nurse saying "I NEED MY COMPANION. I CANNOT BE ALONE." Hahaha the nurse thought I was a crazy person.....but 30 mins later they found my companion waiting in the wrong waiting room. Haha. Well long story short they took a scope on my throat and saw somethin weird so they took a biopsy of my throat and I'll find out the results on thursday...they also said I had an infection so currently I am on like 6 drugs. Haha its awful. But a super funny story!!:) So this week has been kinda dull since then....the day I got home from the Hospital we had to drive down to Omaha for Zone Conference. The doctor told me I probably shouldn't go but I really wanted too......ha so we went. That whole day I was feeling awful.....so sick.....President was super worried about me and told me to go and lay down on the couch outside. One of the Elders had asked me to bear my testimony earlier before they knew I was sick and President told them to take me off cuz I needed to rest but somehow they messed up and called my name so I went and bore my testimony.....on drugs. Haha suprisingly I didn't embarrass myself too bad!! Haha then for 3 days after we got home I slept and slept and slept....We have been able to manage 2 lessons every day though!!! So thats awesome!!! :) And yesterday I was even able to go to church.....and 2 investigators came!!!!! IT was AWESOME! J came we were talkin about the plan of salvation and she had a son die of cancer when he was 5...She asked a ton of questions!!!! Ahhh it was awesome!!!! She started cryin and huggin me sayin that she believied all this!!!! IT was awesome! C was the other investigator who came and last night before bed she called and thanked us so much for such a wonderful day. She has never been happier:) She wants to go again!!! It was so cool! I am so grateful that Heavenly Father is still blessing us with success even tho we are unable to go out and work our best. Well I have been able to read the Book Of Mormon a lot lately and I just wanna share a quick insight I got the other day. I am readin in 3 Nephi chapter 3 and 4 and they are awesome chapters. In verses 20-21 The people are askin God to deliver them and carry out how they think their plans should go. When God forbids it and tells them that if they do it thier way that they will be destroyed but if they do it God's way then He will deliver them. I was really thinkin of that and seein how often we do that. We pray for the things we want when really we should probably be prayin to align our will with God's and let God's will take place. God has it all figured out. He knows whats best for us. He will never put us through somethin we can't handle WITH the help of Him.(cuz we sure can't handle a whole lot on our own...) Goin through these tests and trials in life, is only gonna make our relationship with Heavenly Father stronger. So shouldnt we be grateful for these hard things we go through? ITs just hard to see things that way though. We all know that challenges will come to us all....life wasn't meant to be easy, but as we trust in God, these challenges will strengthen our faith and lead us closer to the people we were sent here to become. I think of this whole health trial I have been dealin with this week.....its been real hard....but I can honestly say that it really has brought me closer to my Heavenly Father. No one else could help me through this, no one else knew how scared I was, and no one else could comfort and be there for me better than He could. I know that I needed to let go of all fear.....and just have faith and trust my Heavenly Father and all would work out, HIs way, the best way:) Anyways just awesome couple of chapters!! I love you guys sooo much and thanks again for all you do for me! When you go to Jared's grave today please let a balloon go for me!! I love you guys!!! Love, Sister Wilson:)

Hey Family!! So this week has been amazing!! Its amazing the success we are seein!! Ok soooo first off...we have another baptismal set!!!! haha 2!!! Its amazing! Its sooo cool to be a part of this amazing work. Both of the baptismal sets are from the L Family. (A family that lives in the trailer park). I absolutely love them! They are so humble and down to earth. They have been goin through a real tough time lately. They have lost 3 family members in the past month and B was goin in for open heart surgery this week. (They all are super less active and haven't come to church for like 20 years.) B asked if she could have a priesthood blessing. We were sooo surprised and soo happy!! She then told us she was terrified for the surgery and didn't think she was gonna make it through. So we got some priesthood holders and went over there on Thursday night. (She was getting surgery on Friday). Their WHOLE extended family was there. The trailer was PACKED with people. We were not expectin that at all. But wow it was soo cool! We taught on the Atonement and the spirit was there so strong. Everyone in that room could feel it. Then Brother Bates gave her a priesthood blessing. Wow it was so amazing. He promised her that she would make it through and that all would be well. It was a really cool experience and I am soo grateful I was able to be a part of it. Everyone in her family just came up to us huggin and cryin and tellin us how much they loved us.....I love that family. We were able to go back 2 other times this week and meet with different members of their extended family. So neat. God is allowing me to see miracles. Another really cool experience we had was one of our investigators, G, invited us to teach at her Methodist womens group. We were able to teach the Restoration to 25 Methodist women!!! Ha it was amazing!! We had a GIANT Question and Answer session.....and I just prayed like crazy that I would answer all their questions correctly. Ha it was cool cuz Heavenly Father always gave us the answer to every question they asked. (And let me tell ya....some of em were questions I honestly didn't know the answer too....but the answer just flowed out of my mouth...:) soo cool) Then afterwards 4 different ladies came up and asked if they could have a Book Of Mormon.....then one of the ladies asked about learning more!! They all asked for our number and wanted us to come back in a couple of weeks and learn more!!! When we were drivin home, Gladys told us that they absolutely LOVED us and said that was the most interesting thing they have ever heard and really want us to come back as soon as we can! G was so happy that we came and asked if we would come to another womens group she has and teach them!!! haha soo cool!!:)
One last thing....so we went and helped S serve food at a country music thing, and were able to talk to a BUNCH of different people. They all asked a ton of questions and we now have 5 new investigators who want us to come and teach them more!!! So what I learned......is that country music...is of God. The end:) Well one scripture that I have been studyin a lot about this week is in Helaman 5:8 where it says "that ye may not do these things that ye may boast, but that ye may do these things to lay up for yourselves a treasure in heaven, yea, which is eternal, and which fadeth not away;" I really really like that. It made me think of my intentions for doin things. Like.... Do I serve others so I can look better? or because I honestly love these people and want to help them? Do I share experiences to boast of myself? or because I want to share my testimony? I think a lot of times we catch ourselves boasting of ourselves and glorifying ourselves and not God. I know I am guilty of this.....its human nature...but I really really want to purify my intentions. To purify our intentions, I think a good place to start is to purify our hearts. If we have a pure heart that would mean that we are humble, and willing to submit our will to God's will. I think it means we do things for the right reasons. We do things out of the goodness of our heart. We do things with Christ like love.....charity, the pure love of Christ. Wanting or expecting nothing in return, just doin it out of love. In order to have a pure heart we need to desire pure things. If we start with desiring to have a pure heart....its amazing how that desire will turn into action. Love is an action word. If we truly love God, then we need to show Him, in all we do, say and even desire. I know that if we truly take the time and effort to purify our hearts, intentions, and desires that we will be a lot happier with ourselves and find it a lot easier to love others as well. I don't know....just something to think about this week!! haha I love ya all sooo much and hope you have a wonderful week!!! Love, Sister Wilson:)
